Me! Hi!
I’m Indigo Blue, and I’m passionate about Burlesque and Transformation. For the last 20 years I have dedicated my life to teaching, performing, breathing, and thinking about Burlesque. And in that time, I have had the honor and opportunity to share the magic of Burlesque with thousands of people.
I’ve seen incredible transformations happen – and what stuns me again and again is how powerful Burlesque is. With a tiny nugget of an idea, a little time and some glitter, you can change your life!
I love working with beginners – folks who have little to no experience with Burlesque, some of whom have never been on a stage before… EVER.
I love that by learning how to take an idea and turn it into a real stage-worthy act, students learn a ton more about themselves than they ever imagined possible.
While we’re working together, you’ll gain confidence, have soooo much fun, and learn to love and appreciate the parts of your body you haven’t even looked at since 2008!

Who are the Academy Legacy Staff?
Moscato Extatique
Moscato Extatique “The Them Fatale of Burlesque” is the 2020 Duchess of the Noire Pageant! They are a classically trained dancer and award winning choreographer based out of Seattle, WA. Moscato is one fourth of the “Best Troupe” award-winning Mod Carousel, and a dancer for House of Verlaine and BenDeLaCreme. They are the first nonbinary person to be accepted to compete as Miss Exotic World at the Burlesque Hall of Fame! Basically, they are THE CAT’S PAJAMAS.
Queen INGA
INGA is Miss Exotic World, Reigning Queen of Burlesque 2018. Since joining the Seattle burlesque community in 2005, Inga has performed in worldwide and is currently a cast member of The Atomic Bombshells and a dancer for BenDeLaCreme. In addition to her 2018 Miss Exotic World title, INGA was crowned Miss Viva Las Vegas 2011 at Viva Las Vegas. She continues to tour and perform nationally and internationally.

I’ve never taken an online class before, how does this work?
VIRTUAL SYLLABUS: After you’ve registered, you’ll have access to the Academy Of Burlesque School on Teachable.com – an online learning platform. This is where you’ll go to view all your weekly lessons, and download all your handouts, and get your “DO IT!” assignments. Each week a brand new lesson will be unlocked, giving you a whole new bunch of videos for you to view on your own timeline. Although the lessons are released weekly, you can take as long as you want to finish the course!
VIRTUAL STUDY HALL: And, you’ll have access to the private Facebook group, where Indigo and her assistant teachers will be engaging with you between sessions, answering questions, offering hints and links, and connecting you with the resources you most crave.
VIRTUAL CLASSROOM: At the DELUXE and above levels, you will also have access to the private ZOOM Video Conference Room for the Academy of Burlesque, where we will meet for Group Coaching sessions! Each session you’ll log in with your Instructor and your class mates to get an overview of the week’s lessons, valuable in-class exercises, and support on the journey. Can’t make a Coaching session or a Q&A? No worries. All Zoom sessions are recorded for you to access whenever you want.
PRIVATE VIDEO COACHING: Those receiving Private 1:1 Coaching will set up a weekly time to meet in a special Zoom room for personalized sessions to develop your act. So, no matter where you are in the world, you can create the act of your dreams!
